Sheltered Housing work gains DWP support

A delight (and a small triumph!) to see Digital Unite’s DUCPs (Digital Unite Community Programmes) referenced in the DWP’s Ageing Strategy published on 13 July. We’ve been banging on for years about the potential for digital inclusion and digital literacy work in sheltered housing, and our partnership with ERoSH (Essential Role of Sheltered Housing) who we donate 1% of the revenues generated from this work to, has been absolutely key in spreading the word – and the good practice – so far. We are delighted there’s now a committment in place to extend this work and look forward to getting (very!) involved.
