Grandfather Wanted!

It’s Sophie again. I posted down below about BeGrand.net – our new venture setting up a website for grandparents.
We’re looking for a grandfather to join the Advisory Board of the site. The Board is made up of wise people who scrutinise our plans and ensure we’re making a site that really works for Grandparents.
We’ve already got grandmothers, specialists in digital inclusion experts in issues that affect older people and people who run big websites already on board – we’re just missing the perspective of one or two grandfathers…
- You need no specialist skills.
- You do need to be a keen grandfather.
- You need to be comfortable talking about your opinions, discussing and responding to other people’s.
The Board will meet approximately every 3 months for the next year or so. The first meeting is in London in early November. It’s not a paid post in terms of time, though expenses may be met.

We’ve had a really great response to this. We’ve now got 4 DU grandfathers giving us their wise advice on the BeGrand.net Advisory Board. It met for the first time last week and they were full of interesting opinions….
